Ukuwela: The Crossing
Sibusiso Sizatu grew up a herd boy in Qumbu and became a senior instructor at the Royal Cape Yacht Club Sailing Academy. The film follows him and a crew drawn from the Academy's township youth programme across the South Atlantic in the Cape2Rio Yacht Race.
Directed by Sam Tengani. Streaming on Showmax. Winner of Best Documentary Feature at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards.
